The Reservation Application is used to apply for the 9% Competitive and Accessible Supportive Housing (formally named Non-competitive) Credits, as well as the 4% Tax-exempt Credits available when using tax-exempt bond financing.
Please remember if a development will be mixed construction then a Mixed Construction application must be requested and submitted. Please see the

Following notification of readiness for occupancy to Virginia Housing's Tax Credit Allocation Department, the owner should contact Virginia Housing and request a customized 8609 application for their development. For more information on the 8609 Application process, please refer to the
