Board Composition
The VHDA board of commissioners is composed of 11 members, all of whom are appointed by the Governor of Virginia. Eight are direct appointees, including a Housing Choice Voucher Program representative. The treasurer of Virginia, a representative from the state Board of Housing and Community Development and the director of the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development serve ex-officio.
