1999 Legislative Study Reports

During 1999, VHDA prepared three reports related to four legislative study resolutions. These reports were submitted to the Division of Legislative Automated Systems (DLAS) in December 1999 for printing and distribution to the Governor and the General Assembly.
Please note that the published versions of all three reports were formatted for two-sided printing per the requirements of DLAS. As a consequence, the page numbering varies from the PDF versions provided here.

Two reports were prepared solely by VHDA in response to study resolutions introduced at the request of the Virginia Housing Study Commission.

In addition, VHDA, the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services (DMHMRSAS) jointly prepared a consolidated report in response to two related study resolutions: one introduced at the request of the Joint Subcommittee Studying the Future Delivery of Publicly Funded Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services (SJR 159); and one introduced at the request of the Disability Commission (SJR 456).
