This committee is made up of affordable housing stakeholders whose primary market area of operation is the Virginia Capital Beltway area of the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. It includes government officials, non-profit housing development corporations, private developers and business professionals.

The group meets on a regular basis to discuss issues relating to both rental and homeownership, and also serves as a communication forum to:

• Identify and address key issues.
• Exchange information and make recommendations.
• Coordinate resources.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of current VHDA programs.
• Introduce pilot financing tools.
