VHDA provides our customers with either an annual payment coupon book or a monthly billing statement with a coupon attached. To help us give you the best customer service, please be sure that:

• Your loan number is written on your check.
• Your check is accompanied by the appropriate month’s coupon. Payments not received with a coupon will be applied at VHDA’s discretion.*
• If you’re paying more than the required amount, you specify on the coupon how the extra amount is to be applied. Extra money sent, but not specified on the coupon, will be applied at VHDA’s discretion.*

* A customer request to change the way funds have been applied will be honored only if it is received in the same month that the payment was applied.
