Turn those who want to buy a home into those who can afford to with a VHDA mortgage loan. We offer a variety of home financing programs that provide special affordability features for lower-income homebuyers who have not owned a home with the previous three years. In most cases, VHDA First-time Homebuyer loans are insured through four sources:
- Federal Housing Administration (FHA).
- Veterans Affairs (VA) for eligible veterans.
- U.S.D.A. Rural Housing Services (RHS).
- Conventional mortgage insurers.
Then, to provide the homebuyer with lower rates, pricing and special variances created for VHDA, the lender uses our funds to close the loan. Because all VHDA loans are assumable by eligible borrowers, loans can keep the same interest rate, and that translates into homes that are more attractive for resale.
