Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), also called Section 42 credits in reference to the applicable section of the IRS Code, is a federal program administered by VHDA through our Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). As the program’s local administrator, VHDA announces the most current training schedule.
2012 Schedule of Training Classes
All training is held at VHDA’s Virginia Housing Center at 4224 Cox Road, Glen Allen, Virginia.
To register for any class, please access our Event Calendar.
- VHDA must receive the total fee for each class within five (5) business days following registration. A copy of the registration must accompany the payment. If fees have not been received by VHDA within five (5) days of the scheduled class, registrant’s name will be removed from the registration list and the person will not be allowed to attend the class.
- If a registrant needs to cancel a registration, cancellations must be submitted in writing to michelle.edmonds@vhda.com at least ten (10) days prior to the date of class.
- If a registrant cannot attend and wants to send a substitution, this request may be made at any time prior to the date of the scheduled class by contacting michelle.edmonds@vhda.com. No substitutions will be allowed on the day of class.
- Refunds will not be given to no-shows. If you are eligible to receive a refund, the request must be submitted in writing to michelle.edmonds@vhda.com and the reason for the refund should be clearly stated.
