VHDA UPDATES

HOLIDAY CLOSING - Our offices will be closed December 23 - 26, 2011 and then again on January 2, 2012 for the holidays.  Please keep this in mind when requesting Delegated Approvals and closing review for loans.

LOAN DELIVERY – We requires all loans to be delivered within 10 calendar days of closing, and no later than the 15th day of the month preceding the first payment date.  With holiday schedules impacting deadlines, please be proactive in submitting loans.  All loans with a January 1, 2012 payment must be received at VHDA no later than December 15, 2011.

NEW CLOSING CERTIFICATE - All loan closings beginning December 15, 2011 must include the new Closing Certificate in the package submitted to VHDA.  This form, available by clicking here, should be included in the front of the closing package.

Updated shipping checklists should be on our website in January 2012.  As a reminder, closers need to have at least two years experience and have attended required VHDA training.
